OmniTrax - Ranging Buried Cable DetectionDescription OmniTrax is a covert outdoor perimeter intrusion detection sensor that generates an invisible electromagnetic field around buried sensor cables. When an intruder disturbs the field, his location is calculated to the nearest metre (3.3 ft.) and an alarm is declaired. In the case of a network system, the alarm is instantly communicated over the sensor cables to a PC-based central control system where his location is displayed on a map of the site. |

Panther II - Buried Cable Intrusion Detection SensorDescription Panther® II is a covert perimeter intrusion detection sensor that generates an invisible electromagnetic field around buried sensor cables. If an intruder disturbs the field, an alarm is declared. Unlike many sensors, Panther II uses a uniform volumetric field to detect moving targets based on their electrical conductivity, size and movement. Unless a target possesses the minimum alarm characteristics, it will not be detected. A person or vehicle crossing through the field is detected while small animals and birds are ignored. Common environmental false alarm sources like foliage, rain, snow and blowing sand are filtered out by Panther II's advanced adaptive algorithms. This intelligent signal processing provides a high Probability of Detection (Pd) and an extremely low False and Nuisance Alarm Rate (FAR/NAR). |

IntelliFIBER's optic sensor cable is extremely versatile and can be applied to virtually any fence. IntelliFIBER retains the industry leading performance, proven nuisance alarm rejection and exceptional detection characteristics of Senstar-Stellar's Intelli-FLEX digital processor, while adding enhanced EMI, RFI and lightning protection and allowing zone lengths of up to 2000 meters (6500 ft). The sensor cable consists of two fiber cores for detection of intrusions only. Communications and power are delivered on other cables typically installed in a trench or tied separately to the fence in conduit. We also provide a 4-core fiber version with integrated power cabling, known as the 4+2 configuration, for detection, communications and power distribution all on the same cable. |
