INNO FENCE - The Innocent-Looking Detection SystemDescription INNO-FENCE is an innocent-looking (hence the name) reliable, non-obtrusive Perimeter Intrusion Detection Fence designed primarily for high security sites where appearance and a choice of color and heights are very important. It is for that reason that the INNO-FENCE has been, and is being installed around residential areas, airports, industrial sites, and other high security sites where a pleasing appearance, combined with the highest security are of primary importance. Due to the absence of any moving parts in the system, the INNO-FENCE offers an almost zero False Alarm Rate. Combined with an unsurpassed Probability of Detection, reliability and life expectancy, the INNO-FENCE requires negligible maintenance. The operating principle of the INNO-FENCE is based on light transmission which can be controlled in a fiber optic cable. Any reduction in transmission will generate a signal, which is evaluated by the transponder, and visually and audibly announced by the Control Unit as an alarm. The system is modular in height and length. Special provisions may be made to guard against cutting the bars to force an entry. DTR 2000 - Taut Wire Perimiter Intrusion Detection SystemDescription The prevention and detection of intrusions by unauthorized personnel into high security, sensitive, secret or vital sites has long been the aim of Magal Security System's DTR-2000 Taut Wire Intrusion Detection System (TWIDS). Since its first installation over 30 years ago it has been accepted universally as the ONE system which can be totally relied upon, and which combines an unequaled Probability of Detection (PoD) with a virtual absence of either False Alarms or Nuisance Alarms. Because the DTR-2000 has no weather, terrain or other environmental limitations,it has been giving reliable, trouble and maintenance free service - in dry and scorching desert conditions; under severe storms; in tropical, hot and humid climates - as well as in sub zero snow covered areas. The heart of this system is an electro-mechanical sensor which - upon activation - sends a signal to the Computerized Control Center (CCC). The CCC evaluates this signal, sounds an alarm, and gives a clear indication of the type and location of this intrusion attempt. The DTR-2000 can be installed as a free standing fence on most existing fence posts, thus serving as a true physical intrusion barrier - or it can be wall mounted to detect any climbing over the wall or fence. Roofs and other such surfaces can be equally well protected by short outrigger-type posts, assuring that buildings which are located near the fence will not serve as possible "weak spots" to intruders. One of the main problems with any alarm system is the unacceptable number of False and Nuisance Alarms that they produce. Thus, frequently, an alarm is simply disregarded by the guard personnel - with obvious dire results. The DTR-2000 system is free of this problem - correctly installed it is guaranteed to have less than one False Alarm per Kilometer of system per Three Months. And - this extremely low rate notwithstanding - the Probability of Detection approaches 100%! Cutting the fence wires, spreading them, climbing over them on a ladder or through them, cutting the communication cable or trying to tamper with the sensor itself will all cause an immediate alarm. Due to the fact that a force of less than about 15 kg (33 lb.) will not activate the sensor, small animals such as rabbits, dogs, snakes, birds etc., will NOT cause an alarm. The DTR-2000 is unaffected by EMI/RFI, or by climatic conditions. It is protected against lightning and can be supplied for any site length, terrain, reasonable system height or configuration. It is thus suitable for any and all high security sites requiring the best security with high reliability. |

PipeGuard - Pipeline Security SystemDescription PipeGuard is an innovative, patent pending security system, aimed at protecting pipelines and other buried assets from terrorism, theft and third party damage. Based on state-of-the-art patent-pending embedded technologies, Pipeguard offers a unique solution to meet the tough challenge of pipeline damage prevention. PipeGuard is designed to generate an alarm - only when a real and concrete threat is identified. Sensing Units (S.U.) are installed at a distance of about 200 - 300 meters apart. They are placed along the pipe, at a depth that is in between the pipe and the surface of the ground. They can be installed either over the pipe or within offset boundaries of up to 10 meters. Each unit is an autonomous entity with a unique ID. The software can be updated with new parameters and version upgrades. Depending on the area's characteristics, PipeGuard offers several options to securely transfer the alarm message from the S.U. to the operator: wireless RF, wired, or a combination of both. |
